latest tools...shopgods has been good to me...!

I got lucky over the last couple weeks and scored a Mossner toolmakers bandsaw and a funky tabletop drillpress...waiting for spareparts for the saw but I can´t wait to get that one running....

the drillpress is special in that it is a highspeed model...would run from 7500 to 19000 rpm with the setup it had when I got it......have turned a new pulley for it and have it down to 1000, 2000 and 3000 rpm and will reduce the speed further with a VFD....built like a tank...what I like the most is that the spindle can be lowered to keep tight tolerances when drilling....

Website update!

JB just finished a major update on the main anso site.
The Haddock and "67" has been added as well as I decided to remove the balisong section. I never invested much time in the bali section and figured that it didnt belong there anymore. I will still make balisongs now and then but no more orders for them.

besides these changes Joachim did a major overhaul on some of the details that are not as apparant, excample the changing pictures on the main page, added link in the top banner to the Outbreaksite (which is being updated also!) and a few other changes....

Amok goes Micro

what do we have here??...my good friend Piter asked me a while ago if I could make him a 3 3/4" Amok and this is the result....for your information I started out making the fullsize Amok with a 5 3/4" blade...then came along the mini Amok with it´s 4 3/4" blade and now the Micro Amok with its 3 3/4" blade... While the mini was a direct scale down this one had to be compleetly redesigned to keep proportions AND still function well and keep its good looks

Incidently I had the prototype for the mini Amok in the shop for a tuneup so you can see the difference in size....too bad I didnt have a full size Amok to show together with them as well...
the blade is RWL-34 and the handle is red carbon fiber.

Double Action Amok...!!!

I just finished this Amok double action Amok. While I have made a similar one before this one just didnt wanna get built. I think of it as the most difficult knife I ever made and the one that took the longest time to get made....the end result however was well worth the trouble in my own humple opinion.

The blade is Bertie Reitveld Dragonskin damascus, bolsters are Mike Norris and the scales are fossil walrus. The blade is 5 3/4" long and the overall is 12 3/4" so this is a big mother...! Swings open with a loud convincing CLACK hope you like it..!

Mofo light...same taste....less fat ;)

One of my customers asked me if I would make him a sub 4" Mofo and I figured why not .....blade is right around 3 3/4" in RWL-34. The handle is tecno texture in black/orange G10....I like it.....I used to favor 4"+ folders but the smaller stuff is gaining on me....
